The "Building Up Troy" series, which looked at a recent increase in development within the city, spanned three days and included multimedia components like photos, video and a map mashup. The goal of this project was to take a closer look at multiple separate projects, highlighting reasons for the increased developments and the possible effects on the surrounding neighborhoods and the City of Troy.

Residents from all over the Capital District braved cold weather and gathered on Erie Boulevard with the hopes of catching a glimpse of President Barack Obama as he makes his way to the General Electric plant today. Some were protesting against the President's policies on war, while others were fans just wanting to participate in the historic day for the city.
